The real ‘Full House’ is far more glamorous than the Tanners’ home

If you love the Tanners as much as the rest of us who grew up right alongside D.J., Stephanie and Michelle you’re definitely going to want to take a look at this house. It’s the Full House house! Well, the house used in the exterior shots anyway. And although it’s been repainted since the late 1980s, it’s definitely the Tanner’s abode as featured on the opening credits of the show.

Thanks to San Francisco’s real estate boom, the home to the middle-class Tanners is now worth a whopping $4.1 million. Yep, that’s what a house with 3 bedrooms, 3 and a half bathrooms, and an office goes for these days in the City By the Bay. But there’s plenty that’s special about this house besides its Hollywood pedigree.

The house is an impeccable Charles Lewis Hinkel Victorian built in 1883 with beautiful details. It features a formal garden and enviable sky-high ceilings. It’s not anything like the inside of the Tanners’ house, which was in fact a TV set, but it’s still worth a little look-see.
