Armenian fashion illustrator Edgar Artis designs dresses using everything from flowers to wood shavings.
Burnt matches dress
Artis believes that, “Everything has beauty but not everyone sees it.”
And he uses everything from organic material like orange peels, to cheese in his art.
Burnt paper dress
With every design being unique and super stylish to boot.
Some of his designs have special meanings, like his “Wheat dress,” which is an homage to Armenia.
Breast cancer dress
Or this tribute to people battling cancer, for which Artis wrote, “You are the strongest Warriors so keep fighting. Your strength inspired me to create this illustration.”
Ice Queen dress
He shares his designs on Facebook and Instragram.
Sometimes challenging his followers to guess his “ingredients.”
Can you guess what this dress is made of? Hint: It’s a vegetable.
Onion peels dress
Nothing is off limits. “Even onions can inspire me,” Artis says.
Artis also uses fabric, light and even bodies of water in his illustrations.
Sevan Lake dress
Seriously though, this design features Lake Sevan in Armenia.
Leaves and flowers dress
Artis has a cult following online, with almost 90,000 followers on Instagram…
And over 4,000 likes on his Facebook page.
Wood shavings dress
“Your support means (the) world to me,” is written in his Instagram profile, so Artis seems to love his fans just as much as they love him.
