Justin Trudeau snuggled Canada's new panda cubs
This story just might have a little too much cuteness in it. Adorable prime minister of Canada Justin Trudeau was present at the naming ceremony of Canada's first baby giant pandas.
Can't... handle... the... cuteness.
The best part about these photos is that Trudeau looks totally at ease with these giant, furry babies. Perhaps that's because he's a badass, tattoo-sporting father of three who supports gender equality at every turn? Just a guess. In case you weren't already familiar with Prime Minister McDreamy, he's just one of the greatest politicians who's totally won over all of Canada with his "of the time," forward-thinking beliefs and advocacies.
In case anyone else was seriously considering moving to Canada if Trump gets elected, this GIF might be the deciding factor.
Anyway, back to more important things — like Trudeau's interaction with fluffy pandas. The panda babies were officially named Jia Panpan (Canadian Hope) and Jia Yueyue (Canadian Joy). It's the first time most of the world is seeing the twins, as they had been held in the maternity ward since last October, when they were born. Next week they will finally go on public display, much to the delight of all Canadian Instagram users.
Until then, The Guardian has this adorable video for you of the pandas playing while PM Trudeau speaks about peace and friendship in the background. Frankly I can't think of anything that better epitomizes those notions.
Trudeau believes the panda twins will help strengthen Canada's relationship with China. One thing's for sure — Trudeau's newfound relationship with the cubs is certainly strengthening the world's love for him.
In conclusion, here's what Canada's got going for it — an awesome, handsome, feminist leader and baby pandas. Meanwhile the United States has Trump, Cruz and Trump's hair. I don't know about you, but I'll be booking my plane tickets imminently.
