Cat adopts an unexpected group of babies, proves how amazing animals can be

Cats get a bad rap for being ornery, unaffectionate and not all that interested in anything but their own needs. This farm cat will give you a whole new perspective, as she is anything but your average cat.

Della, who lives in Ireland, recently gave birth to a litter of kittens. As if that wouldn't keep her busy enough, she happened to come across a few recently hatched ducklings shortly after giving birth. Instead of doing what any cat would do — eat them — or at the very least ignore them, Della decided to raise them along with her kittens.

The images of her snuggling with the fluffy little ducklings are absolutely precious and a clear reminder of how animals can be a great example of how we can extend kindness to others who aren't quite like us.
