12 Times Wally the Bunny reminded us that it's good to be funny looking

Most everyone has had a time in their lives when they felt weird looking. Whether you had knock knees as a kid (me), or giant hair in humid weather (me), it's likely something has made you feel not so "normal." However, Wally the wing-eared bunny is here to tell you that looking different is wonderful, not shameful.

Wally is a 10-month-old English Angora rabbit who lives in Massachusetts with his owner Molly. He also happens to be the next big Instagram star because of his disproportionately large, fluffy ears. You'd think that because he looks a bit unusual, people might be turned off by him, but in fact the exact opposite is true. Wally has amassed over 24,000 Instagram followers, who do nothing but leave adoring comments on his pictures and video clips.

Wally is similar to the other internet-famous animals who all have a distinct feature that somehow makes them cuter. They are loved for their "abnormalities," which is an important lesson, if you think about it, in terms of humans. There may be something physical about you that makes you different, but that should be seen as a strength, not a weakness. Check out how Wally embraces his "weirdness."

1. He cleans his ears with ease

That's why his big ears are always so smooth and shiny.

2. Hair accessories look great on him

Could a "normal" bunny pull off this barrette so well? I don't think so.

3. Bad hair days become awesome hair days

The "Don King" effect never looked so good.

4. He always looks alert and like he's listening

Great for particularly boring meetings.

5. They help him fly

Well, almost.

6. This happens to them when there's a breeze

7. All hats look fabulous on him

8. His ears help him escape prison

You know what they say about big ears... big brain.

9. Even as a baby, he looked majestic

10. He blends in well with other species

They could be brothers.

11. He has crazy good hearing

So be careful what you say, even if he's not in the room.

12. However, they're not the best for hiding

Perhaps the only drawback to Wally's giant ears is they make him very easy to spot in games of hide and seek. Ah well. At least it's just a hobby, not a career choice.
