Remember the show Rescue 911? This dog would have made headway for a great show. Calling 9-1-1 using her owner's smartphone, she was able to alert the authorities of her doggone special gift.

That's a smart pup

We teach our kids to dial 9-1-1 in an emergency, but our dogs? This little Japanese Chin needed no instruction; she learned the talent all on her own. While playing around with her owner, she was able to dial the emergency phone number with none other than her very own furry paws. Purely a mistake, it caused quite the commotion both at home and with the dispatcher.

Hello... is anybody there?

Upon receiving a call from what she thought to be an emergency situation, this 9-1-1 dispatcher soon realized that this was another type of call. Upon listening closely, the dispatcher noticed that what she was hearing was not human, but, in fact, paw scratches and sniffs on the other line. After hanging on for a few minutes, she noticed that it was a dog that had dialed the emergency number and not a human. The dog's human companion quickly picked up the phone, apologizing for her little pup's odd mistake. Embarrassed as the owner was, she was pretty impressed over her furry friend's ironic dial.
