It’s baby’s first Valentine’s Day, and maybe you want to make it special — despite the fact that they totally won’t remember it. February 14th isn’t just about romance; it’s about love, and that includes your littlest love. But what do you give to your main mini-squeeze when they’re too young to appreciate (or chew) fine chocolates? And when reservations at a nice restaurant (not that you can do that right now anyways) are impractical/your dear baby would probably cry through dinner?
Worry not. There are still plenty of gift options for a baby on their first Valentine’s Day. Just because your little Cupid can’t hold a rose without trying to eat it doesn’t mean they have to miss out on all the fun. Whether it’s falling fully into heart-shaped toys or just plain loving the color red, these gifts are totally perfect for making your baby your valentine. And most importantly, many of these gifts can be used any time of year so they don’t go to waste.
Ahead, we’ve rounded up some great gift ideas to help you celebrate baby’s first Valentine’s Day—from swoon-worthy outfits to useful baby gear you’ll both love. And if you’ve got older kiddos, make sure to check out these Valentine’s Day gift for kids at Target.
Our mission at SheKnows is to empower and inspire women, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.
