Inspired by — you guessed it — Disney’s hotly anticipated live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, this collection of styles in four sea-worthy prints celebrates inclusivity and diversity and comes in size ranging from preemie to adult 3XL (we love!). And it’s not just clothing; there’s nursery bedding, packing cubes, duffel bags, lunch bags, backpacks, and more!

“The Posh Peanut community has been asking for Disney collaborations for quite a while now, so we knew our first drop with Disney had to be monumental,” Fiona Sahakian, founder of Posh Peanut, told SheKnows. “And what better way to make a splash for our debut release with Disney than with a collection inspired by the theatrical release of Disney’s The Little Mermaid?”

There are four gorgeously-detailed prints in the collection. “Ariel” highlights the iconic mermaid princess and is a direct nod to actress Halle Bailey’s acclaimed portrayal; “Dancing Beneath the Waves” features Ariel’s mermaid sisters in all their beautifully diverse glory; “Beach Buddies” is a sweet homage to everybody’s favorite supporting characters, Sebastian, Scuttle, and Flounder; and “Magical Mermaid” was designed to give every little girl the chance to feel like a mermaid princess. Made from Posh Peanut’s beloved viscose from bamboo and the softest tulle, the mermaid princess dresses are equal parts princess magic and buttery-soft bamboo — making it more comfortable than ever before for children to channel their inner mermaid princess all day long.

Sahakian shared that though it’s nearly impossible to narrow down, her personal favorite part of the collaboration is the swimwear, because The Little Mermaid is synonymous with water — and also because there’s a new style to love. “Posh Peanut fans will be excited to learn that we are releasing a brand new women’s swim silhouette with this release — a one-piece style with a front knot and removable straps, offering a two-in-one style for mamas that look for versatility in styles,” she told us.

But each and every thoughtfully designed piece of the Posh Peanut | Disney The Little Mermaid collab is amazing, with something for everyone — and for Sahakian, it’s a Disney dream come true.

“Collaborating with Disney is the ultimate way for me to relive my childhood as an entrepreneur,” she told SheKnows. “No other brand has the ability to pull out the inner child in all of us like Disney can, and it’s been such a special experience to have the entire Posh Peanut team contribute to bringing the magic of Disney to our community.”
