Taking a babymoon is a fairly new tradition — but it’s almost as popular as a honeymoon now! It makes sense: you are super pregnant, so why not pamper yourself? Not to mention, babymoons can also offer some one-on-one time with your significant other before your newborn arrives (you may want to use this time to rest, because you won’t get a lot of that soon!).
Many celebrity moms-to-be have hopped on the trend, too. One of the most common places for these celebrity babymoons are tropical locations, preferably with a beach, some virgin margaritas, and a masseuse who takes pregnant clients! However, you can go on a babymoon wherever suits your fancy. As long as there are A) no other kids invited and B) you take plenty of bump pics while you’re there!
Even the royals have gotten in on this trend, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle going on a babymoon before their son, Archie, was born, and Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoyed a babymoon in the Caribbean.
If you are debating on going on a babymoon before your little one is born, consider this your clue to take the trip. You’ll likely want to go in your second trimester, when chances are you’re past morning sickness — but not quite in the most uncomfortable part yet. Then, just try to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet before your baby is born. You deserve it!

Lindsay Lohan

She shard a picture of herself in a black one-piece bathing suit to show off her gorgeous baby bump in May 2023. She also posted a picture of herself in the water, tagging Six Senses Zighy Bay near Dubai.
The Mean Girls star didn’t share whether or not her husband was with her on the trip, but either way, this mama-to-be got some much-needed relaxation time before her little one is born!

In another, she reveals her bare baby bump in a long button-down shirt. Judging by her and Pelphrey’s smiles, the trip was a blast!

“Happy new year. baby moon was in full effect,” she said. She also shared several photos, including one of her in a leopard-print swimsuit, feeding fish, and just enjoying the beautiful water.

The Osbournes alum posted a picture from her vacation on her Instagram Story in Aug. 2022, showing off her growing baby bump in front of a background of an ocean, patio, and lounge chairs. She also got a massage while there, which Osbourne referred to as her “Baby Moon.” It sounds so relaxing!

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle

An insider told The Sun in April 2019 that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had a private getaway in Hampshire, UK, at the long Room of Heckfield Palace country house.
According to the source, the couple “wanted total rest and relaxation, and Meghan was really attracted to the organic ethos of the hotel which produces much of its own food on an on-site farm. It was very chilled.”
The insider also told The Sun that Harry and Meghan “went for walks in their wellies” and that “Meghan sat on a love-swing hung from a tree and they ate delicious food,” adding, “she particularly enjoyed the hotel’s signature chocolate-coated candied orange and roasted home-grown vegetables.”

When The Hills star, who is mom to Liam, 5, and Charlie, 3, was pregnant with her first baby with husband William Tell, she went to a beach for her babymoon, where she shared a snap of her bump on the beach with a cold drink in her hand.
“Babymooning and pretending my blended lemonade is a margarita 🌴👶🏼🌙🍹,” Conrad wrote on Instagram in 2017, which is all too relatable for expecting moms. Not being able to drink is truly the only downside of a babymoon!

Moore responded: “Best vacation surprise ever!!!”
And Duff chimed in, “Matt we actually just wormed our way in their bb moon.”
