We’ve all come to have an entirely new appreciation for the great outdoors over the past year, and with that comes appreciation for all the clothing and gear, like raincoats, that can help us stay comfortable outside for longer. Rain should be no impediment to letting kids go out to play, especially when the alternative is them quite literally climbing your walls. That’s why we’ve taken the time to find some of the best kids raincoats and waterproof jackets to keep them warm and dry when the weather turns soggy.
We’re so happy that there exists a garment that can shield our children from the cold and wet. And our kids are probably equally happy that there are so many jackets, slickers, raincoats, and ponchos in styles and prints to suit their individual tastes. As much as we might love the idea of dressing our kids exactly like fishermen or ducks, that might not be their thing. Now, with the magic of the internet and fashion, they can instead brighten up a cloudy day with rainbows, monsters, unicorns, ombre pink, and fisherman yellow. Or they can choose not to stand out in a storm, opting for classic colors and well-made waterproof gear.
Seriously, we’re a little bit jealous of these kids raincoats. There are a few that make us want to ditch our practical umbrellas and see if there are slickers in grownup sizes. Even if we don’t go that far, let’s be sure to go play outside and get in on some of that singing and dancing in the rain too!
