NFL player turned recent retiree, Tim Hasselbeck surely has more time to spend with wife, TV personality Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and his three children, Grace, Taylor and Isaiah, who are all under the age of eight. The Hasselbecks, who live in New York where Elisabeth films The View, recently traded in city living for the comfort of the suburbs in search of a big backyard for their kiddos to enjoy.

1 /9: Tony Romo

1/9 :Tony Romo

For a while, we thought that Tony Romo was going to make his debut as a father with now ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson. Alas, we’ll never see a Romo-Simpson baby. The career-long Dallas Cowboys quarterback married his wife, Candice, a couple of years post-Jessica and they welcomed the adorable Hawkins in spring 2012.

2 /9: Drew Brees

Hopping back and forth between San Diego, which he calls home, and New Orleans, where he is a quarterback for the Saints, Drew Brees and his wife, Brittany, have three boys — Baylen, Bowen and Callen — who are all under the age of four. When Brees’ second son, Bowen, was born in 2010, he turned to Twitter for name suggestions!

3 /9: Jay Cutler

3/9 :Jay Cutler

If you’re a reality-TV loving mom, you’ll probably recognize Jay Cutler’s girlfriend, Kristin Cavallari, before you recognize the Chicago Bear player! This couple became new parents in August 2012, welcoming son Camden to the world just before Cutler hit the field with the Bears for the preseason. We’re sure he can’t wait to get a football in Camden’s hands!

4 /9: DeAngelo Williams

4/9 :DeAngelo Williams

A career-long Carolina Panther, DeAngelo Williams spends his downtime like most other dads… watching cartoons with his young daughter. When he’s not running the football or on the couch at home, Williams wins our hearts by advocating for breast cancer awareness — the pink shoes they wore on the field in October were his idea!

5 /9: Donovan McNabb

5/9 :Donovan McNabb

What do you think dad and former NFL player Donovan McNabb would say is harder? Juggling his four young children (including a set of twins!) or toughing it out on the football field? It’s probably a toss up! Having just turned in his helmet and pads at the start of the 2012 season, we’re guessing that he’s going to master carpool duty in no time.

6 /9: Tony Gonzalez

6/9 :Tony Gonzalez

Tony Gonzalez's Atlanta Falcons were knocked out of the playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. However, there is no doubt that Gonzalez’s three kids — River, Malia and Nikko — are proud of their dad — win or lose.

7 /9: Peyton Manning

7/9 :Peyton Manning

In his new role as a Denver Bronco, Peyton Manning is a dad to watch in the NFL! Not only does he balance his football career with life as a dad to twins, Marshall and Mosley, but Manning also finds the time to run his charity, the Peyback Foundation, which benefits disadvantaged kids, especially in Tennessee, Indiana and Louisiana.

8 /9: Tom Brady

8/9 :Tom Brady

Look in the dictionary under “All-American” and we are pretty sure that you will see Tom Brady’s picture there. Successful quarterback for the New England Patriots, Brady is also a dad to three equally gorgeous kids: John, age six, whose mother is ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, along with 3-year-old Benjamin and newborn Vivian with wife, model Gisele Bundchen.

9 /9: Victor Cruz

9/9 :Victor Cruz

Victor Cruz, a player for the New York Giants, is dad to infant daughter Kennedy. And, this is a dad and an NFL player with a lot of heart. When he heard that Sandy Hook School victim Jack Pinto was his biggest fan, he made a special trip to Newtown to spend some time with Jack’s family.
