Several trails, varying in difficulty, course through the park, giving you ample opportunity to enjoy nature’s beauty. Be on the lookout for massive rock formations, waterways and waterfalls. Archusa Creek Water Park

A fisherman’s paradise, Archusa Creek Water Park is abundant with prime fishing real estate. There are seemingly unlimited bass, perch and bream to be caught. Once you’ve caught your fill, head back to your campsite, where you can cook your catch over an open fire. Besides fishing, you can boat, canoe or sail, and there are plenty of trails and opportunities for wildlife watching.

Okatibbee Lake

Nature and wildlife await you at Okatibbee Lake. Not only can you camp out on the grounds you can also hunt and fish. There are several different types of game including deer, rabbits and squirrels. Or cast your line into the lake, where you’ll find largemouth and striped bass, catfish, crappie and bream along with other fish. Other wildlife you may see are American alligators or bald eagles. There are also sandy beaches perfect for building sandcastles while you take a break from swimming. Other activities include volleyball and horseshoes.

Arkabutla Lake

Get ready to relax at Arkabutla Lake. After pitching your tent, go on a wildlife walk and see how many trees, birds and other wildlife you can identify. For the more competitive at heart, try your hand at disc golf. There’s always fishing, too, and with several boat launches you can spend a quiet day on the lake.

Big Biloxi Campground

Visit the Gulf Coast and surrounding beaches by day and retreat to nature at night at the Big Biloxi Campground. A one-mile trail offers a change of scenery, and an open area give you the chance to play softball, volleyball or any other sport you can imagine.
