Ever wonder what it’s like to be king? See how the King of Rock and Roll lived and how his legacy lives on as you tour Graceland.
Spend the day getting to know the King of Rock and Roll at Graceland, the mansion home of Elvis Presley. Enter through the music note-adorned gate and pass the sprawling front lawn until you reach the front steps of this historic home. See how the King lived as you tour the mansion from his living room to pool room, music room, kitchen and infamous Jungle Room. The style and furnishings throughout the home make it ideal for playing a game of i-spy. And everyone will be delighted to see Elvis’ bejeweled custom costumes that became his signature look. Take a walk to the Trophy Room where Elvis’ gold and platinum records as well as movie memorabilia are displayed. Elvis’ stables are maintained and in use so you may be able to see some of the horses.
Elvis loved to travel in style and you’ll love touring his two private jets and seeing his custom renovations. Inside the Automobile Museum, you’ll find over 33 vehicles including motorcycles, convertibles and the iconic Pink Cadillac. One exhibit that you must see is the Elvis Lives: The King and Pop Culture interactive exhibit. Here, you’ll learn about Elvis’ impact on music and the world and how his influence continues today. Games, activities and memorabilia teach visitors how the King lives on. As the finale to your visit, stop to pay your respects at the Meditation Garden where Elvis and family members are laid to rest.
