Although a relatively new theme park, Adventure Park USA has already become a favorite of families in the Maryland area. This park has a Western theme that is apparent on everything from the rides and the shops to the golf courses and the dining options.
Adventure Park USA
Adventure Park USA is spread out over nearly 18 acres and features various indoor and outdoor activities. It’s advisable to arrive early at the park and plan to stay all day in order to maximize the fun you and your family can have. Once you’re in the park, first head over to the Wildcat Roller Coaster. Long lines tend to form at this roller coaster later in the day, so it’s a great way to get your day started.
Next, we recommend either the go-karts or the bumper boats. Both of these attractions are enjoyable — even adults can have a lot of fun driving these machines.
If you want to take it easy, head to the arcade or play a round of miniature golf. The arcade has more than six dozen video games, while the miniature golf course has 18 holes and a number of obstacles along the way. Another option is to play the Western-themed laser tag.
For little kids, the park offers a number of rides that are just their speed, including the tea cups, a rope course and a carousel. There are also video games for kids, a special section just for toddlers and a Western corral for hands-on fun.
Once your family gets hungry, head to one of the many cafes. While they have a wide variety of food, drinks and snacks, we recommend the pizza. It’s high quality, and one of their large pizzas can feed an entire family.
Before you go to Adventure Park USA, be sure to purchase your tickets online from their official website. Not only is the purchasing process a breeze, the tickets are actually cheaper online than they are at the gate. For an all-day pass for an adult, expect to pay around $27. The all-day pass allows you to have unlimited access to all the rides and attractions.
