Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum
Located in Seminole, Oklahoma, this children’s museum is based on the theme of a child-size town and offers a wide variety of interactive displays and hands-on activities for kids of all ages. One of the most popular parts of the museum features a unique opportunity for kids to dress up and pretend to be everything from a news anchor to a judge to a supermarket cashier. Other displays teach kids about everything from kinetic energy to the importance of bicycle safety. Kids can get active in a 16-foot climbing maze with 15,000 connecting nooks. The museum is set on beautiful grounds, so you’ll find plenty to do outdoors as well. Take a ride on the train, explore the outdoor castle maze or feed the ducks.

Science Museum Oklahoma
If you are looking for a place for families to learn and have fun, Science Museum Oklahoma is the answer. Located in Oklahoma City, this hands-on museum features numerous science exhibits and displays, as well as several galleries, a planetarium and a state-of-the-art theater. It’s the perfect spot to take your kids this summer to allow them to explore and learn. Also consider their “Bright Nights!” program where families bring sleeping bags and spend the night at the museum.

Big Splash Water Park
Beat the heat this summer by taking your whole family to Big Splash Water Park in Tulsa. Whether you like the action and adventure of tube rides and water slides or just want to float along the lazy river, they have it all. Families like to soak up the rays and experience the waves at the park’s wave pool. If you have little ones, they’ll be safe and have fun in the shallow pool with mini slides and spraying water. Head to Big Splash on Sundays for Family Day. Admission is discounted to just $17 per person.

Frontier City Amusement Park
Take a step back in time to the Wild West at Frontier City in Oklahoma City. This theme park features spectacular rollercoasters and other thrill rides, as well as concerts, food, water rides and more. Even if you don’t love the action of the thrill rides, you’ll enjoy the many shows that take place at the park, including a gunfighter stunt show, magic shows and other music and dance performances. If you have little ones, they’ll enjoy the O.K. Kids Corral area as well as the bumper boats, Ferris wheel and train ride.

More than just a zoo, Arbuckle Wilderness is an exotic animal theme park. Set on over 400 acres in Davis, Oklahoma, this popular family attraction features a six-mile drive-through safari and a walk-through zoo. Additionally, they have an amusement area with go-karts, bumper boats and other kiddie rides. The best part of Arbuckle Wilderness is being able to feed the animals.
