Pzazz!, Burlington

The fun doesn’t stop at Pzazz! in Burlington, Iowa. This casino and entertainment resort has it all!

You’ll feel like a million bucks when you stay in these high-class surroundings, but you’ll be glad to know you don’t have to spend that much!

The Pzazz! Resort and Hotel is where you want to be if you’re going for a family trip. Most rooms in this hotel overlook either the indoor waterpark or the outdoor family pool. You’ll get free admission to the water park if you stay here, and once the kids see it you probably won’t have a chance to do much else! If you can though, pry them away from the water at some point because there’s so much more to do! This place has a bowling alley, go-kart racing, laser tag and much more. If you want a family bowling experience, avoid the place on Friday and Saturday nights when it turns into more of a party scene.

If you’re looking for a little more luxury, make your reservation for the Catfish Bend Inn and Spa on the same site. This is a smaller, more intimate hotel with an adult-only pool and access to a spa. If you do plan on going to the spa, bring your wallet because their services are pretty pricey.

You can choose from several restaurants at Pzazz!, but most are geared toward adults and tend to be filled with people ready to party. For a more family-friendly environment, try Gasoline Alley. This is a ’50s-style family diner, and it’s a great place for kids.

If you have a sitter (or if this is a trip *gasp* without children), you just can’t miss the Catfish Bend Casino for a night of fun, games, good times and (hopefully) big wins!
