Best Alabama parks for families
Alabama has some fabulous theme parks for families. Check out our directory of water and amusement parks, and you'll soon want to visit them all!
Your family will enjoy 20 acres of fun at Waterville USA, located in the beach resort community of Gulf Shores. Throughout the summer, Waterville USA is both a water park and an amusement park. At the water park, thrill seekers can ride 3-foot waves in the giant pool or brave the Kamikaze straight drop while the younger set enjoys the bright kiddie area. Amusement park attractions include the 50-mph Cannonball Run Rollercoaster and the force-filled Ejection Seat.
Outside food is not permitted, which is OK because the park food is affordable and kid-friendly. The park provides plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for those must-have breaks. The admission price covers everything, so plan to arrive early and spend the day!
