A summer on the Jersey Shore just isn't complete without a trip to Morey's Piers in Wildwood. Get the scoop on how to make the most of your visit.

Morey's Piers

When it comes to beachside amusements, Morey's Piers and Beachfront Waterparks in Wildwood provides the ultimate boardwalk entertainment. This amusement park, which comprises three separate amusement piers along the boardwalk and two beachfront water parks, has been family owned and operated since 1969. A lot has changed since the park first opened with a single fiberglass slide over 40 years ago, but the commitment to family fun remains the same. The mission of Morey's Piers is to "provide a spectacular family recreation experience in an exceptionally safe, clean, friendly and unique environment."

Morey's Piers offers over 100 rides and amusements on Mariner's Landing Pier, Surfside Pier, Adventure Pier, Raging Waters Waterpark, and Ocean Oasis Waterpark and Beach Club. Mariner's Landing Pier provides a traditional amusement park experience with Teacups and Super Scooter rides and a giant ferris wheel. Get there early and treat the kids to a one of a kind experience — breakfast in the sky. Reserve in advance, and enjoy a white tablecloth gourmet breakfast served to you inside a ferris wheel car! Surfside Pier has a good mix of kiddie rides and amusement rides for older children and adults. The kids will love the neon-lit carnival atmosphere on this colorful pier. Finally, as you may have guessed, Adventure Pier is where you'll find the truly extreme rides like the wooden Great White Coaster and the Grand Prix Raceway.

When you enter Raging Waters Waterpark, located behind Mariner's Landing Pier, you'll be transported to the land of pirates. Here families can enjoy shipwreck-themed play areas, rope swings and plenty of waterslides. The second water park, Ocean Oasis Waterpark and Beach Club, can be found behind Surfside Pier. In addition to waterslides and play areas, Ocean Oasis offers cabanas, live reggae music, massages, a swim-up bar and loads of beach club amenities.

Check the Morey's Piers website in advance for information on hours, ticket packages and daily specials. There's no need to pack a lunch, as Morey's Piers offers dining options for any taste and any budget. If the little kids aren't up for trekking from pier to pier, a shuttle service is available. With all the amusements available at the piers and parks, it's sure to be a long day — so don't forget the sunscreen!
