Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio’s premier amusement park, is a hot spot for families all summer long. However, you also shouldn’t miss their winter celebration, Holiday in the Park.
Holiday in the Park
Each year, the 200-acre amusement park is transformed into a festive winter wonderland providing plenty of excitement and yuletide cheer for kids of all ages. Your whole family will enjoy special live entertainment, tasty holiday treats and the spectacular colorful lights throughout the park.
The fifth annual Holiday in the Park celebration at Six Flags Fiesta Texas runs from Nov. 25, 2011 through Jan. 1, 2012. Guests will be dazzled by over one million lights, an amazing 60-foot Christmas tree, holiday-themed shows and, of course, the thrill rides. Your kids will love lacing up a pair of skates to experience iceless skating in South Texas at Frostee’s Skating Rink. Another highlight of Holiday in the Park is Santa’s Castle, where children can witness Santa’s elves working hard to make all the Christmas toys.
Holiday in the Park also serves up a variety of yummy holiday snacks, from churros and hot chocolate to gingerbread cookies and roasted nuts. You can also visit one of their many holiday shops to pick up special gifts for all your friends, relatives and loved ones.
