You've heard it before, and it still holds true: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And getting a healthy breakfast on the table for your family each and every morning is still a challenging task. Here are a few breakfast tips for busy moms to help you feed your family without losing your sanity!

1. Be prepared.

You can't make a quick, healthful breakfast if your pantry is empty. Keep these foods on hand, so you won't be tempted to resort to a fast food drive-thru breakfast:

Fried eggIn the fridge:

  • eggs
  • butter
  • fruit
  • milk
  • juice
  • bacon

PancakesIn the pantry:

  • bread
  • cereal
  • pancake mix
  • syrup
  • oatmeal

Frozen waffle

In the freezer:

  • frozen waffles
  • sausage links

Breakfast on the run:

  • Granola

    toaster pastries
  • granola/breakfast bars
  • apples, bananas
