Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and partner Jason Statham are in newborn bliss! The pair welcomed their second child — a baby girl — in London this past Wednesday.
Huntington-Whiteley first confirmed her pregnancy via Instagram in August in a collection of mirror selfies, writing “Taaa daahhh !! 👼🏻👼🏻👼🏻 #round2”, and recently chronicled her burgeoning baby bump in another post. The caption was simply an hourglass and a baby, indicating that the big event was due to happen any time.
Just today, Huntington-Whiteley confirmed the joyous baby news with an adorable Instagram photo of a chubby baby hand reaching out of a pristine white bassinet. And she revealed her new daughter’s beautiful name, captioning the sweet photo “Isabella James Statham” along with the birth date, 2-22-22 (which baby Isabella shares with Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s newest arrival!) and an angel emoji.
Celebrity friends of the couple, including Lily Aldridge, Kelly Rowland, and Rachel Zoe, chimed in with well-wishes in the comments.
Huntington-Whiteley and Statham, who have been together since 2010, are already parents to 4-year-old Jack. “Motherhood is just a wonderful journey of many ups and downs … every day there is a new set of challenges and a new set of triumphs,” she told People magazine in November of 2019 about raising her son.
We’re sure that going from one kid to two, and learning to balance her preschooler’s needs with those of her newborn, are going to double those challenges and triumphs! Congratulations to the new parents, and to big brother Jack!
