This little bear helps teach your children about mindfulness. Inside, there are 30 exercises that incorporate breathing and movement exercises that teach kids how to control their emotions. The book, which is based on Kira Willey’s CD “Mindful Moments for Kids,” stresses that these little acts of mindfulness can be done just about anywhere. This book helps them slow down, breathe and learn to be present in the moment. In addition to the picture book, there’s also a guided meditation included.
3. Ultimate Mindfulness Activity Book
Written for both kids and teens, this mindfulness book has a whopping 150 activities to help your children become more mindful, whether that’s managing stress or appreciating the world around them. The book includes a “getting started” guide, real-life examples of mindfulness in the world and a free audio course for parents. You might want to start this journey with your kids.
