Flip It Like Disick host Scott Disick was ready to throw down this week when Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble suggested spanking would be the proper form of “discipline” for Disick’s daughter, Penelope.
Disick and Gamble can be seen arguing at the dinner table over spanking in a sneak peek from the upcoming Sept. 22 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. And it definitely gets heated.
Next Sunday, a family dinner takes a turn for the worst. This new #KUWTK can’t be missed. pic.twitter.com/gUtnl8iM2K

In the clip, Gamble — a tour manager — says, “If P[enelope] scratch me, I’m whipping her ass.” He’s apparently referring to some recent not-so-nice behavior on Penelope’s part.
Disick stares at Gamble in disbelief and says, “My daughter?” To which Gamble replies that he’d give her “a spanking for sure.”
Disick is once again shocked by Gamble’s comment and says, “My little daughter?”
Gamble replies, “Whipping is that discipline!”
And that’s when Disick’s dad-fury kicks in. “Don’t ever talk about a child like that! Get the fuck out of here!” he yells at Gamble across the table.
We’re thinking Thanksgiving is shaping up to be a tense one this year at the Kardashians. Disick shares Penelope, 7, Mason, 9, and Reign, 4, with coparent and ex-wife Kourtney Kardashian. As for Gamble, it appears he’s been a source of tension in the reality-TV family for some time. Back in May, Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, were disturbed by how little they knew about Gamble.
“Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, ‘Look, we don’t know you. We’ve never met any of your family members,'” Kim Kardashian said in an earlier episode of the show.
Keep in mind that Kardashian matriarch and momager Kris Jenner has been dating Gamble since 2014, so it’s maybe a little late to complain about not getting to know the guy sooner, if you’ve had five years? Jenner, for one, was offended by the scrutiny of her boyfriend; she called West’s prying “rude” and added that she would never “disrespect” anyone in that way.
Whatever Gamble’s background, one thing is clear: He has absolutely no right to threaten spanking the granddaughter of the woman he’s dating. Twitter is ready to whip his ass.
Omg #TeamScott all the way. Don’t talk shit about someone’s child

But, as usual with the internet, we then have quite a few folks on Twitter who think Gamble was justified.
This right here… this is the distinction and nuance with cultural ways to raise children. Also, Scott doesn't seem to understand Black sarcasm. I highly doubt Gamble would touch his child, but he's saying what he would do if she were *his* kid, and he was discipling her.

We are dying to see how this episode plays out — and what the repercussions are for Gamble and his already precarious place in the fam.
But for the record? Research shows that spanking is a lousy way to communicate behavior expectations to children — and often results in more violence in children. So step off, Corey; we’re with Scott on this one — especially when it comes to other people’s children.
