It’s no secret that Kylie Jenner and her family don’t exactly shy away from the limelight. But when it came to her pregnancy, Jenner kept the news private until she welcomed little Stormi Webster into the world in February. Now, it looks like the reality star and entrepreneur is shifting back to privacy mode.
Astute followers of Jenner’s Instagram have noticed that she deleted all photos that featured little Stormi’s smile. But don’t worry — Stormi isn’t gone from Jenner’s Instagram entirely. Instead, Jenner has opted to only share photos that conceal her daughter’s (adorable, chubby) face.
On Sunday she shared a photo of herself with Stormi accompanied by the caption, “i spy with my little eye…”
When followers commented that Stormi’s face was conspicuously absent from the photo, Jenner responded that, “Yeah I cut my baby out. I’m not sharing photos of my girl right now.” And she doesn’t just mean going forward; Jenner has already deleted all posts that feature Stormi’s face.
Jenner didn’t elaborate on the reasoning behind her decision, but it’s totally understandable that she’s chosen to keep Stormi’s face hidden for the time being. And since she’s still sharing other more subtle mother-daughter photo moments, at least we’re not being totally kept in the dark as to Stormi’s whereabouts (and cuteness).
As much as we’d love to see more pics of Stormi’s adorable face, we support Jenner’s decision. After all, plenty of parents are cautious about sharing photos of their kids on social media — and like pretty much every other new parent, Jenner is figuring this whole “raising a kid” thing out as she goes along.
