Famously infamous blogger Perez Hilton is a dad for the third time — and it’s a girl. The baby is named Mayte Amor after her grandparents, Mario and Teresita, and she arrived via a surrogate on Oct. 4. Hilton (born Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., in case you ever wondered) couldn’t be happier.
He posted the big news on Instagram with a sweet pic — and a major shoutout to all surrogates.
He wrote, “Thank you to the surrogate who gave me the greatest gift anyone could ever receive! And thank you to the other two surrogates who helped us as well! And thank you to all the surrogates who give so selflessly and whose kindness is inspiring! There are still many states in America that, sadly, prohibit surrogacy and I hope to use my voice to advocate for making it legal across the country!”

He continued, “I am deliriously tired and equally happy! This is a very special time for me and my family! Family time is the best time! Family first! They are my everything!” (See, you can tell he’s both happy and delirious based on exclamation point count alone.)
Hilton already has a daughter, Mia, and a son, Mario, who show up in his Instagram feed often (along with his adorable doting mom). Clearly, family life suits our favorite gossip — who would have guessed?
