Don't Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak-Biermann — a mother of six — gave Instagram all the feels on Monday when she shared a heartfelt post about her son Kash beginning kindergarten.

"1st day of Kindergarten," she captioned the photo (also featuring son KJ and husband Kroy Biermann). "@kashbiermann did great getting out of the car…and as soon as he did I LOST it. My hubby and @arianabiermann were so sweet talking me down!"
Zolciak-Biermann admitted she was less worried about older son KJ adjusting to first grade: "Kj started 1st grade Thursday of last week (and I’m surprised he isn’t president of his school yet) lol but my nugget Kash is a bit more sensitive and shy," she said. "There is something about boys that just gets me. THANK YOU for all of your sweet comments through all my tears last night[.] I didn’t feel as crazy knowing so many of you are going through the same. Love all of you. Have a fantastic day and I’ll let you know if I hop in my car and go pick him up."

It's not surprising Zolciak-Biermann is feeling extra protective of Kash as he heads back to school. The past few months have been brutal for the little boy, who was hospitalized after being bitten badly by a dog. She posts regularly about her kids on her Instagram feed.

"The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare," Zolciak-Biermann posted at the time of Kash's dog bite. "My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I’ve never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life."

Fortunately, Kash has recovered, but Zolciak-Biermann admitted it was a terrible ordeal for the family.

"Kash has taught me so much these last 3 weeks. Who would have thought a 4 year old could teach a 38 (almost 39 on Friday) year old so much?" she said on Instagram.

Zolciak-Biermann is also mom to Brielle, 20, Ariana, 15, and twins Kaia and Kane, 3. She'll be making a return to Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta this fall — if she can survive the back-to-school crying jags. We're just glad to hear Kash made a full recovery — kindergarten, we're betting, will be a piece of cake for this little guy, if not for his mom.
