We totally cry at weddings. So we understand 4-year-old Gage Newville’s wave of emotion. The little guy broke down (in a happy way, we think) when his new stepmom read some vows she wrote just for him at her wedding to his dad.
Senior Airman Emily Leehan married U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Joshua Newville on Saturday, and she took a moment during the ceremony to address her new stepson directly.

She continued, “You have helped make me into the woman that I am today, and I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you.” Gahh, give us all the tissues please.
Gage wept as he hugged her around her legs, which made it pretty adorably hard for Leehan to continue.

“I know that you and I will butt heads, but…” Leehan trailed off.
We’re sure they will, but right now, this stepmom-stepson duo is all love.
Guests praised Gage for doing a great job standing up for — and with — his dad at the altar.
His dad said, “We were telling him, ‘You did awesome,’ and our family and friends were saying that and told him he made it even better.”

No honeymoon or family-moon just yet for this very sweet new family, as the couple is still on active military duty and must remain at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey for now. But we’re kind of thinking this is about the time Ellen DeGeneres swoops in, has them all on her show and then sends them to Disney World. (Come on, Ellen!)
