“Cash and I are officially going to be outnumbered, ” Alba captioned the sweet shot of her and her daughters — Haven, 6, and Honor, 9. In the pic, she and her girls are holding number balloons 1, 2 and 3. She also added the hashtags “#babyonboard #herewegoagain #blessed.”
Alba’s company has not been so blessed of late, with its numerous product recalls, including baby wipes fouled with mold.
Alba talked to People about her life as a mom, saying that she’s always working on “being open and curious and trying to better myself.”
Alba added, “I don’t try to pretend like I have all the answers and I certainly don’t think I’m perfect. So when my kids say something, instead of me being so reactive, I think about how I can be better.” Good advice for all of us moms for sure.
Alba’s Instagram pics show a happy (and did we mention ridiculously photogenic?) family eager to welcome a new baby. She says what works best for her family is boundaries and structure.
“I find that my kids thrive when they know where the boundaries are and the comfort zone and where they can be creative and play,” she said. “But it’s having enough sleep, having proper nutrition that really helps that. And having enough activity.”
We’re excited to meet Baby Alba-Warren — and we’re hoping Alba’s Honest Company gets back on track soon.
