Like his mom — and his dad, photographer Erik Asla — York is a looker, with eyes that are already “smizing” (if you’ve ever watched Banks’ labor of love, America’s Top Model, you know of which we speak). But it’s his mama who can’t stop smiling based on her Father’s Day Instagram post.

“To all the amazing daddies out there that love their kids unconditionally like my mommy’s daddy and my daddy, too… HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! -York”

Banks, a former supermodel, welcomed York in January 2016 via gestational surrogate. When he arrived, Banks posted to Instagram:

“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”

“We are so excited for our new baby boy bundle of joy. The journey to now has not been an easy process, as I’ve shared before. But there was a beautiful bright light at the end of the tunnel for me and his father, Erik,” Banks also said of her son.

Banks posted the sweetest Valentine’s Day pic on Instagram as well.

Banks continues to be an outspoken advocate of surrogacy.

“As I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them every day,” she said. “My hopes and dreams are filled with well wishes that they get to feel what my little treasure, York Banks Asla, feels like in my arms.”

We’re just hoping that Miss Jay is toddling the runway with York already working it.
