Just when we thought we’d be happy to never, ever, ever see — let alone hear — another of those mega-popular Llama Llama books by Anna Dewdney, Ludacris decides to give Llama Llama Red Pajama a rap spin. And it’s irresistible, damn it.
If you have no idea what Llama Llama books are, you probably have nearly grown children who eat all your food and take your car without asking. Parents with kids under 13 or so, though, probably can recite the Llama Llama book series in their sleep. They’re cute, but like any book you have to read out loud to your progeny 4 billion times over, they can get a little tiresome.
But Ludacris (the rapper Chris Bridges) just killed Llama Llama Red Pajama on radio station Power 106’s The Cruz Show. If you play it for your kids, well, they might just let you off the hook for any more Llama Llama readings.
Turns out Ludacris has four kids — we’re not surprised. His freestyling Llama Llama awesomeness makes us think he’s been rocking the bedtime routine for years.
