Jill Duggar Knows What Kind of Baby She’s Having: The Boy Kind

Right, so apparently, another Duggar is having another baby. And they know if it’s a boy or a girl. We’d really love to give you details, but we have completely lost track of the swelling population of Duggars and our heads kind of hurt right now.

OK, fine. It’s Jill Duggar. Jill Duggar Dillard. You know, the one whose name starts with a J. (Oh, sure, pretend you can tell them apart.)

The Counting On star and her husband, Derick Dillard, married in 2014 amid much Duggar fanfare. They already have one son, Israel, and yep, another is on the way, due in July. You know how we know it’s another boy? Because she posted a picture of herself holding a tiny blue and black T-shirt and wee red pants.

That’s “IT’S A BOY” in Duggar clothing code. No self-respecting girl would be seen wearing blue or black or red or pants. The couple actually revealed the gender of the new baby to their family through a scavenger hunt with the younger Duggar siblings. Can’t we just tell each other news like this? Do we always have to have a cute reveal party? What’s that? We do? I see. All right, then.

It must be fun to be a Duggar. Endless baby showers and weddings and scavenger hunts and shiny, shiny hair.

So anyway, it’s a boy, and they’re like, “Whatever. Yawn.”

Just kidding. THEY’RE OVER THE FREAKING MOON, PEOPLE. (Gotta make sure you’re paying attention.) The couple released a statement that doesn’t have enough exclamation marks at all:

“We are so excited to be expecting Dillard baby #2! Children really are a wonderful blessing from God. Having Israel has been such a delight to us that we know a second sweet baby will only continue to add joy to our family.”

We say this sweetly, Duggars: d’uhhhh, of course. Babies = joy. We know. But maybe you could all help us out a little and start wearing tees with your names on them in your Instagram accounts and on Twitter? That would kinda help us keep track. Thanks.
