RHONJ Ashlee Holmes just made Jacqueline Laurita a 'glamma'
There's a "glamma" in The Real Housewives of New Jersey family! Proud grandmother Jacqueline Laurita was so excited that she gave her Twitter followers live updates throughout the birth.
Laurita tweeted that her makeup artist daughter Ashlee Holmes' water had broken and, after a lengthy wait, revealed that she was finally ready to push. Naturally when the baby was born, Laurita was quick to let the world have a look at her gorgeous new grandson, Cameron Hendrix Malleo. Cameron's arrival makes Laurita the very first RHONJ grandmother — a title she's sure to make the most of.
Holmes, 25, was also happy to share details of the birth, tweeting that it took 23 hours of labor and one and a half hours of pushing to bring her baby boy into the world. She also posted a cute pic of the new arrival, her first child with fiancé Pete Malleo.
Cameron is originally a Scottish surname with a rather interesting meaning: "crooked nose." It can be both a boy name and a girl name; famous bearers include actress Cameron Diaz, film director and producer Cameron Crowe and rapper Cameron Thomaz, who is best known as Wiz Khalifa.
As a boy name, Cameron has been in the top 100 since 1987, hit an all-time high of No. 31 in 2000 and ranked at No. 56 in 2015.
After Holmes and Malleo announced their pregnancy in March, 46-year-old Laurita confirmed that she was going to be a "glamma." Which, we reckon, is the perfect name for this glam RHONJ grandma!
