There’s no need to play the pregnancy guessing game with Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher — you know the one: Is that a baby bump or did she just have a big lunch? — because this lovely couple have confirmed their happy news before any of the speculation begins.
Yes, the gorgeous twosome are adding to their family. A rep for Kunis confirmed to People exclusively that their second child is on the way. The couple married last July and are already parents to 20-month-old daughter Wyatt Isabelle.
Both Kunis and Kutcher have been open about their desire to expand their family, but as recently as last month, the Bad Moms actress was dodging questions from Ellen DeGeneres about whether a new arrival was imminent. During her appearance on the talk show, DeGeneres asked Kunis if they were “trying” and she replied, “Like, am I having sex? Ellen! I’m always blushing on this show.”
We don’t expect a lot of pregnancy teasers from this particular celebrity couple. They’ve only ever shared one photograph of Wyatt on social media, a whole year after she was born. But one brilliant thing they have done is use their power as celebrity parents to raise awareness of good causes. The image Kutcher shared on Instagram of his daughter also featured red sand in the cracks on the ground behind her to draw the public’s attention to the #RedSandProject, which aims to raise awareness of human trafficking.
And Kunis marked the birth of her daughter by designing an emerald “motherhood ring” to benefit other mothers. Profits from the sales of the 18-carat yellow-gold emerald ring will fund a maternity center in Zambia, near the mine of Gemfields, the world’s leading supplier of responsibly sourced colored gemstones.
Guys, we like your style. (But the occasional pregnancy selfie would go down a treat too.)
