Megan Fox is able to communicate with her unborn child. No, seriously. Well, maybe. Despite the furor online about her revelation on Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she might possibly be joking about the whole thing. Or… she might be on to something pretty amazing.
Sharing her mom-fetus conversations from the womb, Fox, 30, told Kimmel, “You don’t hear an audible voice, but you hear messages, if you’re open to it.”
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress went on to give an example of how her baby actually told her what to do. “This baby wanted me to live somewhere else, so we’re moving to a whole different place in Los Angeles, because I feel like that’s where this baby wants to be raised,” she said.
Before you call her crazy, Fox hasn’t actually come out and said that she hears a voice coming from her womb. If you think about it, lots of moms do experience a really deep connection with their unborn child, and that may manifest itself as subliminal messages. They’re just there, they can’t be explained, and do they really have to be?
It’s maybe when it comes to the baby’s sex that moms most often get those “feelings.” Sometimes a mom just knows whether she’s having a girl or a boy — and she’s right.
There’s also the fact that when a woman falls pregnant, she often experiences huge changes beyond the obvious physical ones. Her mindset, her goals and her priorities may change drastically. So maybe it’s not Fox’s baby talking to her, but her own mom voice kicking in.
So much about having a baby can’t be explained in the pages of a pregnancy book. And if Fox’s baby really wants to move house, who are we to argue?
