It’s definitely 10 out of 10 for the latest Dancing with the Stars news — pro Peta Murgatroyd and her fiancé, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, are expecting their first baby.

Murgatroyd, 29, and Chmerkovskiy, 36, first dated for 10 months in 2012 and 2013 before splitting and then rekindling their relationship in early 2015. In December 2015, Ukraine-born Chmerkovskiy proposed onstage during a performance of "Sway" at Miami's Olympia Theater.

The lovely news comes right off the back of Murgatroyd's latest DWTS victory. She and partner Nyle DiMarco were crowned Season 22 champions Tuesday night, lifting the mirror ball trophy together after a high-energy finale performance of a cha-cha/tango combo to Calvin Harris' "Summer."

Over 22 seasons of the show, we’ve seen a fair few DWTS babies. In March, pro dancer Allison Holker and her husband Stephen "tWitch" Boss, who regularly DJs on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Maddox Laurel.

In January 2014, pro dance couple Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo had a son named Michael, and a few weeks later, fellow pro Anna Trebunskaya gave birth to a baby girl, Amalya Millan.

It's possible that Murgatroyd was pre-empting the pregnancy news back in February when she gushed about her fiancé, saying he was somebody she'd "always seen as being a great father and a great husband."

It's certainly perfect timing — the mom-to-be is now on a break from DWTS, leaving Chmerkovskiy to take over the dancing reigns for the summer: He's back on the stage in "Maks & Val: Our Way" with his brother Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

We can't wait to see what Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy pick for their baby name. Will the new arrival have a dance-inspired name? One thing's for sure — he or she is unlikely to have two left feet.
