J.P. Rosenbaum is more than a little afraid of Ashley Hebert's baby news

Baby no. 2 is on the way for our fave Bachelorette couple, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum. The reality stars posted on both Instagram and Twitter to reveal their happy news — and they’re having a girl!

"I can’t hold it in any longer… My heart is bursting with love now that we’re #ClearblueConfirmed!" Hebert wrote on Instagram. "These booties are just the start, can't wait to stock up on cute tutus and sparkles for my #babygirl!"

Hubby Rosenbaum also shared a pic of the happy couple with their little pink booties on his Twitter account.

Tellingly, while Rosenbaum says he's "100% excited" about the new arrival, he also reveals he's "78% nervous" because it's a girl. That's a natural reaction for any parent who finds out the second baby is of a different flavor. Learning your next child is going to be a different sex than the one you already have can make you panic a little — it's the fear of the unknown.

Rosenbaum needn't worry — it won't take long for him to realize that aside from a couple of different body parts (and an abundance of pink wrapping paper), all babies are as unpredictable as each other, regardless of their sex.

This reality show couple has been one of The Bachelorette's biggest success stories (insofar as they're still married, doting parents and judging from their social media snaps seem to be as happy together as ever). Rosenbaum proposed to Hebert on the finale of The Bachelorette in 2011, getting down on one knee with a ring in Fiji. The couple married in 2012 (televising their wedding in true reality star style) and their first child Ford (Fordham Rhys) was born in 2014.
