Owen is a name of English and Celtic origins that means “young fighter.” The name Owen has been climbing up the popular baby name charts and is currently ranked as the 36th most popular boy name, according to the Social Security Administration. The name Noah is the most popular boy name. As far as his middle name of Bartlett, Morris hasn’t shared the meaning behind his name, however we suspect it could be a family name she is passing down.
Morris isn’t the only celebrity to love the name Owen, as UnREAL star Shiri Appleby welcomed son, Owen Lee, this past December, while ER alum Noah Wyle also has a son named Owen. Zoolander actor Owen Wilson could have contributed to the popularity of this name, however preppy names in general are a popular name trend. In fact, the Social Security Administration said that preppy boy names like Rowan, Clyde, Gannon, Theo and Grayson all are climbing the baby name charts.
Owen is the second baby for Morris and her high school sweetheart husband, Taylor Hubbell, whom she married in 2015. They also have a 2-year-old son named Elijah.
Since announcing her pregnancy in August, Morris has had fun showing off her growing baby bump.
Morris isn’t the only Glee alum to recently welcome a child, as Naya Rivera welcomed a baby boy named Josey this past November.
