Mable Tooke is a crime-fighting superhero who, on Monday, teamed up with Spider-Man to save a hockey player from the clutches of the villain Mysterio. But the beautiful 6-year-old is is also battling cancer.

According to CBC News, Tooke was diagnosed two years ago with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and while in treatment, she fell in love with Spider-Man comics from the 1960s.

Her crime-fighting spree was thanks to the Children’s Wish Foundation and the city of Edmonton, who helped Tooke transform into “Spider-Mable,” where she went about solving clues that would help her discover Oilers captain Andrew Ference’s whereabouts (at the Edmonton Valley Zoo) and destroy Mysterio with large amounts of silly string.

She was obviously victorious!

But Spider-Mable also saved the day in another way…
