Singer Bobby Brown has gotten a bit of good news in the midst of daughter Bobbi Kristina’s ongoing health crisis: Wife Alicia Etheredge gave birth to the singer’s sixth child on July 11 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
The baby girl is the second child for Etheredge and Brown, who also have a 5-year-old son named Cassius. The “My Prerogative” singer also has a son, Landon, from a relationship with Melika Williams; daughter and son LaPrincia and Robert Barisford Brown, Jr., from a relationship with Kim Ward; and daughter Bobbi Kristina, from his marriage to the late Whitney Houston.
Brown has been spending much of his time in Georgia, where Bobbi Kristina is still reportedly in a coma after being discovered facedown in a bathtub earlier this year, but the New Edition star was able to make it back to LA to help welcome his newest little girl to the world. He’s told fans of late that he’s in a “different zone right now” on a mental level, so this good news couldn’t have come at a better time.
The arrival of a new baby can be stressful for a family, but it can also be incredibly healing to a family in turmoil. Infants have the benefit of depending on their parents for everything, empowering them to overcome even the biggest obstacles in life.
