Jack Osbourne welcomes another baby girl, gives her tomboy baby name
Jack Osbourne's wife, Lisa, gave birth to the couple's second child on Saturday, June 13. Get all the details on the baby's birth, including her adorable tomboy baby name.
Osbourne’s new baby girl weighed in at 6 pounds, 11 ounces and is welcomed home by the couple's 3-year-old daughter, Pearl, who has had fun watching her mom’s belly grow in preparation for her new baby sister.
Osbourne and his wife, who is a British TV personality, named their second daughter the adorable name of Andy Rose. This tomboy baby name is very much on trend among celebrity baby names, as they join a long list of Hollywood stars who have also picked cute unisex or gender bending names.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis named their daughter Wyatt, while Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds just named their daughter James. Drew Barrymore has a daughter with the name Frankie, while Haylie Duff just named her baby girl Ryan.
Andy is a name that has several different origins, including French and Portuguese, and means "brave." The name is fairly common for boys here in the United States, with the Social Security Administration’s popular baby name list ranking it at number 281 for boys. However, it does not rank in the top 1,000 for girls. Noah and Emma are currently the No. 1 baby names.
Many parents who do choose a tomboy baby name for their daughters balance it out with a feminine middle name, as Osbourne did by giving her the sweet middle name of Rose.
It has been a tough few years for the couple, so this baby is a welcome joy. Lisa, 27, suffered a miscarriage in 2013. In addition, Osbourne was diagnosed with autoimmune disease multiple sclerosis in 2012.
No pictures yet of baby Andy, however we are sure grandparents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, along with aunt Kelly Osbourne, are having a wonderful time gushing over the new addition to the family.
