Wondering when other couples do their baby-making? Wonder no longer.
As a labor and delivery nurse, it was always fun to see the surge in different months of the year when we would have a booming number of babies. (June and July were always busy for us, especially.)
“Oh, looks like everyone had a fun time nine months ago!” we would joke to one another as we bustled out of another delivery. Elbow nudges and chuckles all around.
Some events are just notorious for baby-making, like snowstorms, where couples tend to hole up and, apparently, exchange body heat in interesting ways. And interestingly enough, new technology can pinpoint the most action-packed days of the year to show us when the most — and the least — number of babies are conceived.
