School shooting reported at Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington
Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington is currently on lockdown. Police and emergency services have responded to a reported shooter and multiple injuries.
Details continue to emerge as students remain on lockdown at Marysville-Pilchuck High School outside of Seattle. The Marysville School District has released the following statement: "The Marysville School District lockdown procedures will remain in effect at Marysville-Pilchuck until further notice from law enforcement. We will continue to forward communication in cooperation with law enforcement."
Live footage from a KIRO 7 Eyewitness News chopper showed students being evacuated to a field outside the school, hands raised in the air in a heartbreaking, eerie march. Swat teams can be seen canvassing the school as students are evacuated onto buses.

A student identified as Robert told KIRO 7 that he is currently on lockdown in his classroom. The junior at Marysville-Pilchuck High School says he was told a male shooter was killed by police. Another student reports witnessing gunfire before escaping.
It is unclear who is responsible and whether this individual or individuals have been apprehended. Police are encouraging parents to avoid heading to the school. Students are being evacuated to a safe area.
Providence Regional Hospital has confirmed three patients with gunshot wounds and a fourth expected. One patient has a gunshot wound to the head.

3:05pm: The shooter has been confirmed dead. He was a student at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. Police are confident that only one shooter was involved. Parents are reuniting with their children at a nearby church.
