We have rounded up this week’s hottest celebrity mom looks, including Kate Hudson, who looked amazing in a yellow blouse paired with a white skirt at the Bulgari Decades of Glamour event. Angelina Jolie showed off her edgy style in a tuxedo at the BAFTAs, while Brooke Burke looked casually chic at the premiere of The Lego Movie.
Celebrity mom Kate Hudson looked like a breath of fresh air at the Bulgari Decades of Glamour party on Feb. 25. The actress paired an Emilio Pucci yellow blouse with a white leather miniskirt and white heels. She accessorized with a long Bulgari necklace and showed off her sun-kissed glow with a chic topknot bun.
Hudson’s designer duds are pricey, however you can copy her look for a fraction of the price. In fact, the 34-year-old actress, who has two sons, Ryder and Bingham, admitted to Harper’s Bazaar that she can’t even afford the designer clothes she wears!
“People think we own all these dresses,” she told the magazine, “but we borrow them! I can’t afford to buy that stuff. There are certain things I splurge on, but it’s very rare, especially when you have two kids and school tuition. I’m not a big high-end fashion shopper.”
Copy Hudson’s look with this 212 Collection Pintuck Crepe Blouse in this cheery yellow blossom shade (Kohls.com, $17). This button-front top is made of a lightweight crepe material to give you the same flowing look as Hudson’s.
Hudson’s ultra-short leather skirt can be hard to pull off (not to mention sit down comfortably), however this Pim + Larkin Eyelet Circle Skirt (Piperlime, $79) gives you a Hudson-inspired look, but it is a bit more wearable. The eyelet embroidery gives it a chic look, while the dropped seam with pleating makes it ultra-flattering.
To get Hudson’s “fresh from vacation” beach glow, spray on some self-tanner (we like St. Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Spray) and you are ready for your close up!
