Easy DIY Halloween shirt
Wearing a costume all day on Halloween isn't always practical, but that doesn't mean you can't dress up! Whip up this easy Halloween T-shirt for your child to wear until it's time to trick or treat.
This festive T-shirt is perfect for your child to wear to school — or any place else they are going on Halloween where they don't want to put on a costume.
What you'll need:
- Child's T-shirt
- Disappearing ink pen
- White puffy paint
- Black fabric paint
What you'll do:
Draw the spider web
Pre-wash and dry the T-shirt, then draw a spiderweb on the shirt using the disappearing ink pen. The disappearing ink pen marks will go away on their own in 12 to 24 hours, depending on the brand.
Add puffy paint
Trace over the pen marks with the white puffy paint.
Paint the spider
Once the puffy paint has dried, paint your child's fingers and palms with the black fabric paint, but leave the thumbs unpainted. Make two hand prints on the shirt with the fingers facing outward.
Draw the spider's face
Draw a face on the spider with the puffy paint. Let the spider web T-shirt dry for 12 hours before washing or wearing.
