Terra-cotta pot apple craft

Terra cotta pot apple craft

With a little paint, glue and felt, you can turn a plain terra-cotta pot into a sweet candy dish — great for gifting to your teacher or using at home!

What you’ll need:

  • 4-inch sized terra-cotta pot and saucer
  • Red acrylic paint
  • Foam brush
  • Green felt
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Candy (optional)

What you’ll do:

  1. Paint the outside of the terra-cotta pot and set aside to dry.
  2. Turn the terra-cotta saucer upside down and paint the bottom red as well. Also allow to dry.
  3. Cut a leaf shape from the green felt and then glue to the middle of the saucer.
  4. Finally, place the saucer face down on top of the pot and fill with goodies for an apple craft that’s good enough to keep or give to the teacher!
  5. Tip: To keep smaller candies and treats from falling out, you can cut a felt circle to fit into the bottom of the pot to cover the drainage hole and place inside the pot.
