Bella’s Breaking Dawn wedding dress and makeup
If you haven’t already heard, the latest installment in The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, is hitting theaters this Friday! The much-anticipated film is gaining tons of buzz for its release, of course, but we can’t help but think that the thing we’re all most excited about is Bella’s wedding dress!
Much to our dismay, the Twilight team has been super cautious to hide Bella's gown from the public and only teases us with a small glimpse in the film's trailer. We really haven't been as eager to get a look at a woman's wedding dress since Will and Kate's royal wedding! While we haven't seen the dress yet, we do know that it was designed by Carolina Herrera.
Knowing Bella's personal style, we're betting her wedding dress is understated, yet classic and elegant. And according to Twilight's author, Stephenie Meyer, the dress has quite a unique feel.
"It's such an interesting mix," Meyer told USAToday.com. "It has a vintage feel, but at the same time, there's an edge to it. It's really beautiful. And then on Kristen -- oh, she looks amazing in clothes -- and in that dress she's so lithe and unbelievable."
We can see Bella in this stunning yet simple Carolina Herrera gown. The jeweled detail and the unique neckline add just enough detail to an otherwise simple gown, just Bella's style. Plus, the silhouette of this gown is gorgeous and would look amazing on Kristen Stewart's slim figure.
Hair and makeup
From the quick sneak peek we get in the film's trailer, Bella decided to go understated and elegant for her hair and makeup. Being somewhat of a tomboy, the character, played by an equally grungy Kristen Stewart, Bella is known for her natural beauty. Like any bride, she surely wanted to play it up a bit on her wedding day, and you can see that she did just that with her perfectly shaped brows, porcelain skin and defined eyes.
Sporting a loose updo with wisps of hair framing her face, Stewart looks as innocent as her character, and her jewel-encrusted veil adds just the right amount of glamour.
