Valentine's Day candy hearts may be cute, but we think they could use a little dose of reality.

Or nostalgia? But either way, since they originated back in 1901, we thought we might help them get on our level about how most of us really feel about Valentine's Day and what we actually communicate to one another on Feb. 14.
