1960s Sweetheart Vintage

’60s Sweetheart

The ’60s weren’t all hippies and no showers. Though those were defining factors of the decade, we chose to put together a sweetheart style that the ’60s we’re also known for. The first thing that came to mind was pretty prints and Grandma’s pearls!

Pearls can get pretty expensive, right? So we shopped around for some equally cute but affordable look-alikes and landed on this Dorothy Perkins graduated pearl necklace. Pearls are a great way to give a little flashback to vintage outfits, but they remain a classic staple so the look remains modern.
We can’t get enough — we love the classic headwear and hair accessories that are an easy ticket to vintage appeal. This Vintage Ingenious Hat is circa 1940s but totally works for this ’60s sweetheart look.
We matched our original vintage find with this attainable Topshop dress that’s complete with a Peter Pan collar. We love how the lace still forms a pretty print and the color is a perfect match for the ’60s sweetheart appeal.
