Friday’s Fashion Obsessions: Julianne Hough and Jessica Chastain

Julianne Hough and Jessica Chastain’s beautiful celebrity styles made us do a double take this week! We’re telling you why in this week’s installment of Friday’s Fashion Obsessions.

Julianne Hough

Julianne Hough

Ryan Seacrest’s sexy and talented girlfriend slipped up on the red carpet at this week’s MTV Movie Awards, earning a spot right on our worst dressed list, but Julianne redeemed herself later this week at the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards in NYC.

Julianne showed up in a sexy meets classy red plunging Kaufman Franco Chinese crepe gown and we certainly noticed. The look shows off Julianne’s hot dancer bod in all the right places, and the plunging neckline of the floor-grazing gown offers a sexy flash of skin without looking sleazy.

Did we mention how much we love the red-gold combo? Yep, we’ve always been a sucker for this color hybrid and love Julianne’s shiny clutch.

The final verdict? The whole look is elegant from head to toe. Great hair and makeup, classy gown — it all works. Well done, girl!

Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain

We’ve admired Jessica Chastain‘s acting skills for quite some time, but we’ve also been silently stalking her style moves all along. This week, the stunning actress showed off her fashion know-how at the CFDA Fashion Awards in NYC, showing up in a gorgeous Prabal Gurung dress and Harry Winston jewelry.

Is it just us or does Jessica seem to float on clouds in this ethereal white number? We love the feminine and flowy white sleeves and skirt and are digging her choice of gold heels.

The final verdict? Jessica dressed the part well for this event. When fashion’s royalty step out, you want to impress, and let’s just say that we’re pretty impressed by her look.
