Fashion Week coat watch: Celebs stay warm in style

New York Fashion Week isn’t for the faint of heart… or those who fear the cold. Running back and forth between shows can get tiring and pretty chilly if you’re not outfitted in warm style. So what did four of our fave celebrities wear to keep warm this week? Find out here!

Joan Rivers

She’s the queen of snappy fashion critiques on The Fashion Police, but Joan Rivers rarely makes the worst dressed list in her real life. The style icon showed up to Fashion Week in style in this furry, textured coat. Age and weather-appropriate, indeed!

Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev always looks high school chic on The Vampire Diaries, and the beautiful star showed up to the Herve Leger by Max Azria show in an adorable blue button-up wool coat. From afar, the look is denim chic, but if you zoom in close, you can see the warm wool coat material that’s perfect for a New York City winter.

Leighton Meester

The Gossip Girl star looks picture-perfect in this Blair Waldorf-worthy style. We’re loving the long camel coat and the pop of yellow shoes. We’re not so sure the star was warm in this ensemble — no tights?! — but she sure does look good!

Ivanka Trump

Donald Trump’s entrepreneurial and fashion-forward daughter is used to cold NYC winters, so she knows how to dress in a warm, yet stylish fashion. We love how she mixed a ribbed sweater with this fur vest (looks so warm, doesn’t it?!) and added a pop of red in her shoes. Nice work Ivanka!
